Our CITB Courses

The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) was set up to build a safe, professional and fully qualified construction industry in the UK. The CITB Site Safety Plus (SSP) courses are designed to give everyone from operative to senior manager the skills they need to progress through the industry. There are a range of courses, which are available Face to Face through classroom learning or via video conferencing remote delivery.

CITB Temporary Works Coordinator Training Course

The CITB - Temporary Works Coordinator Training Course assists managers, supervisors, agents and contractors who have the responsibility for managing and coordinating all forms of temporary works.

Temporary Works Supervisor Training Course (TWSTC)

The CITB - Temporary Works, Supervisor Training Course assists managers, supervisors, agents and contractors who have the responsibility for supervising all forms of temporary works.

CITB Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme (SEATS)

The CITB – Site Environmental Safety Training Scheme is an industry recognised Site Safety Plus (SSP) qualification designed to provide individuals with an introduction to environmental issues on construction sites.

CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)

The CITB – Site Management Safety Training Scheme is an industry recognised Site Safety Plus (SSP) qualification designed to provide individuals with an understanding, relevant to work activities, of their legal responsibilities regarding health, safety, welfare and environment.

CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Refresher

The CITB – Site Management Safety Training Scheme Refresher is an industry recognised Site Safety Plus (SSP) qualification designed for those holding an in-date SMSTS qualification.

CITB Site Supervisors’ Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)

Designed for those who are about to take on, or already have, supervisory responsibilities, it's an ideal foundation for junior managers wanting to develop a basic understanding of their health and safety duties and responsibilities in construction work.

The CITB – Site Supervisors’ Safety Training Scheme Refresher is a one-day refresher of the full Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) course.

CITB Temporary Works Coordinator Training Course REFRESHER (TWCTC-R)

The CITB - Temporary Works Coordinator Training Course REFRESHER (TWCTC-R) course is available to individuals who have successfully completed a CITB Temporary Works Coordinator Training Coordinator (TWCTC) or a TWCTC Refresher within the last 5 years.

CITB Health & Safety Awareness (HSA)

The CITB Health and Safety Awareness (HSA) course is designed for those who have entered, or are about to enter, the construction and civil engineering industry as a member of the workforce. The training helps individuals understand the potential hazards that they could come up against whilst being at work on-site. The course aims to provide an adequate summary of health and safety, welfare, and environmental health and safety issues faced by those within industry.
