To successfully complete the NRSWA Operative Course, you must pass both practical and theoretical assessments:
- Practical Assessment: Involves demonstrating safe excavation techniques, cable avoidance, and other relevant skills.
- Theory Assessment: A multiple-choice exam conducted via a tablet with a 45-minute time limit and a required pass mark of 80%. Up to two resits are allowed, typically offered on the same day.
Upon successful completion of each unit, a separate certificate is issued. Completing the required units will qualify you for a full Street Works qualification, and you will receive your SWQR card.
