Rolling Strut Trench Box
The Rolling Strut Trench Box differs from a conventional trench box as the rolling struts enable both plates to move independently of each other during installation and removal. Its unique design allows for parallel plate movement during installation and removal, minimizing potential soil movements. This makes it a more stable and safe option for excavation work. The construction of the Rolling Strut Trench Box enables greater under strut clearances of up to 3.1m in comparison to conventional trench boxes.
- Top box permits depths up to 6m
- Box extensions available
- Rolling struts enable parallel plate movement for ease of installation and removal with minimal ground settlement
- Variable strut positions allow maximum access for installation of long pipes and improved operator visibility
- Vertical strut clearances of up to 3.1m for installation of large diameter pipes or culverts
- Plates can be pushed down to different invert levels for stepped trench excavations
- Trench widths up to 6.6m can be achieved, exceeding the range of traditional box systems
- Four-way handling points to aid safe assembly
