Water pipe pressure testing must be carried out after any pipeline is constructed and before it is put into service to prove the integrity of the pipes, joint fittings and other components.

We are able to supply a complete range of pressure testing equipment for the hydrostatic pressure testing of polyethylene, HPPE, MDPE and ductile iron pressurised water pipelines.

Remote Pressure Testing App

The all new PressureTest+ app brought to you from Stopper Specialists, designed to on-site monitor and record the pressure testing of pipework. The app works alongside a Bluetooth enabled Data Logger to prepare, record and capture pressure test data in real time. The app will provide an instant, on-site pass or failure analysis, along with test recommendations and GPS tracking.

Pressure Test Box

The Pressure Test Box is a control unit through which a pressure test is managed and recorded. With several connecting points which accommodate calibrated test gauges, pressurising pumps and data loggers, the Stopper Specialists Pressure Test Box is an integral piece of equipment required to carry out a pressure test. This service allows the client to start, record and complete a pipe line test remotely from the Stopper Specialists website.

Milltest Stoppers

Designed for use when air testing drainage pipes to a standard air test of 100mm of water over air. Milltest Air test stoppers are very light and easily transported, making them ideal for testing awkward to reach locations.

Multitest Stopper

Assists in overcoming ovality and irregular sized pipelines.

Airtest Stopper

The new Airtest Stopper covers pipes ranging from 300mm to 700mm with only two sizes.

Test Flanges and Adaptors

Our test flanges are available in sizes ranging from 40mm-1600mm, all to suit NP16 pipe work. Various fittings and connections are available to suit the specific application. These include ballvalves, fire hydrant connections and non-return valves.

Modern portable data logger used by many water companies and contractors, which are ideal for local analysis or monitoring via local connections to a PC. The pressure transducers provide accuracy of +/-0.1% of the full range readings of 20 Bar and an internal memory capacity to store up to 63 days of continuous pressure readings.

Fill and Test Pumps

Stopper Specialists supply fill and test pumps for water testing of pipe lines. Depending on the size of the pipe line and the volume to be filled, either manual or motorised pumps are available. The motorised pump can achieve up to 65 bar feed pressure and is very manoeuvrable. This is available in both diesel and petrol versions. Our mobile fleet of petrol driven pumps may be used to fill and pressurise pipelines efficiently and invariably supplied with a water butt which, when topped up, serves as a water conduit for the pump itself. A range of pumps are available, pelase contact us for recommendations based upon application.

Fire Hydrant and Mains Testing

Ideal for water transference, our 2.5" Fire Hose with instantaneous fire hydrant couplings is available in lengths to suit your requirements. Standpipes are fitted with backflow protection (double check valve) to prevent contamination of the water supply network.
