As headline sponsors, Groundforce Shorco (Major Projects) will again be demonstrating their industry expertise at this year’s GE Basements and Underground Structures Conference which takes place on the 5th and 6th October at the Olympia Conference Centre, London.
The conference brings together leaders from major clients, main contractors, consultants, designers, specialist contractors and suppliers and is an important event for anyone involved in small, medium or large scale projects to learn about the latest technologies available, and best practice.
Steven Lloyd, Groundforce’s Development Manager, who also presents the new Groundforce online ‘Back to the Drawing Board’ videos, will be presenting together with Tony Gould, Technical Director for Groundforce. The format will be an interactive temporary works master class, in association with the Temporary Works Forum (TWf) on the second day (6th) of the event. This new interactive format will provide updates on the latest thinking on subjects including, thermal effects and pre-stress of props, together with an invitation to delegates to test their knowledge against project examples.
There is also an incentive to book tickets early – using the promotional code ‘Groundforce’ will result in a 30% discount off the ticket price.
Tony Gould, said: “We are proud to be back again sponsoring and presenting at this industry leading event. Introducing new innovative design solutions for below ground propping projects is something Groundforce continues to lead the way in. This event enables us to demonstrate our industry expertise and our commitment to further raising industry standards through best practice and forward thinking design methodology.
