A sales and marketing specialist who has worked for leading FMCG organisations has been appointed as the new sales and marketing director for Groundforce.
David Garden, joins the senior management team at Groundforce as the group looks to progress the company through its next stage of UK and pan European growth.
Since leaving University in 1997 with a business studies degree, David has progressed his career in sales and marketing with some of the UK‘s leading FMCG household brands, bringing a wealth of experience to his new role.
David, 40, joins Groundforce from Glen Dimplex, a leading home appliance business with a turnover of £150m. As sales and marketing director he was responsible for the full promotion of four renowned brands through a variety of distribution channels, and managed a team of thirty-eight people.
David will be responsible for the regional sales teams within Groundforce Shorco, as well as the marketing department. Part of his new role will also be to develop the Groundforce Training business, focussing on further growth and development.
