Groundforce has recently recruited Chris Gearren, a highly experienced training professional and safety practitioner, to head up and develop further growth at its training services division based in Worksop.
Appointed as General Manager for Training, Chris brings more than 15 years’ experience of delivering outstanding customer service and increasing business revenue. For the past six years Chris has worked for HSS Training - three years as their Olympics sales & support safety manager, formulating strategic partnerships with key clients and overseeing on-site training, more recently as sales manager - south where he collaborated with a large team of trainers, delivering 240 health and safety training courses across a range of sectors including, construction, railway and facilities.
As part of his new role Chris will oversee the day-to-day management of the division overseeing current course lines, such as the one-day Excavation Awareness, Energy & Utilities Skills (EUSR), the two-day Install, Inspect and Remove Proprietary Shoring Systems course, plus a full range of Qualsafe accreded first aid training courses. He will also focus on working closely with industry governing bodies and designing new courses based on client feedback.
