Groundforce Shorco’s Hire Desk team are shortlisted for not one but two places in the finals of a prestigious award scheme.
The shortlist of the Northern Contact Centre Awards 2024 are for Senior Hire Controller, Leilah Kelsey in the ‘Customer Service Agent of the Year’ category and the Hire Desk team that serves the south in the ‘Frontline and Support Teams of the Year’ category.
Organised by the Northern Contact Centre Forum, the prestigious awards showcase exemplary practices and highlights individuals and teams who have made significant contributions to the industry.
Leilah was nominated for her exceptional levels of operational excellence and customer focus, high levels of collaboration with some of Groundforce Shorco’s biggest customers, exceptional customer satisfaction results, and her training and mentorship of new starters.
In addition to these factors, the Southern Hire Desk is also being recognised for its provision of support to the two other Hire Desks during periods of peak demand and for its tremendous culture and team spirit, where everyone pulls together to help each other.
Helen Davies, head of customer services for Groundforce Shorco, said: “The fact that our Hire Desk team has been nominated in two categories is evidence of the high level of support we give our customers, and each other.”
The winners will be announced at the awards dinner on Friday 25th October at the Midland Hotel in Manchester.
