The Hire Desk team at Groundforce Shorco have been recognised as Highly Commended in two categories at the 2024 Northern Contact Centre Awards, held on 25th October at the Midland Hotel in Manchester.
Described as ‘a celebration of excellence’ the prestigious dinner and awards ceremony is organised by the Northern Contact Forum to recognise the hard work and dedication of individuals and teams who are committed to delivering outstanding customer service and support.
Senior Hire Controller Leilah Kelsey won Highly Commended in the ‘Customer Service Agent of the Year’ category with the Southern Hire Desk picking up the same accolade in the category of ‘Frontline and Support Teams of the Year’.
Leilah was chosen for outstanding customer commitment to operational excellence and high levels of collaboration with some of Groundforce Shorco’s biggest customers. The judging panel also recognised Leilah for her support in delivering a high standard of training and mentorship for new Hire Desk starters.
The Southern Hire Desk was also Highly Commended for giving support to the two wider Hire Desk teams during periods of peak demand; maintaining a positive vibrant culture and adopting a shared approach where everyone pulls together for the common good.
