Piling division Piletec and Trenchless Technology division U Mole have been awarded the CLOCS Champion accreditation which recognises their leading role in helping to reduce collisions with vulnerable road users.
CLOCS (Construction, Logistics and Community Safety) brings the construction logistics industry together to revolutionise the management of work related road risk (WRRR) and ensure a road safety culture is embedded across the industry. The organisation promotes working together to protect pedestrians, cyclists, motorcycles and other road users who share the roads with construction vehicles.
By joining CLOCS as a Champion, Piletec and U Mole are committed to developing a good working relationship with external hauliers focusing on general driving standards, product knowledge, best loading practice and our high customer service expectations.
Lee Pavey (Logistics Manager) says; “Our achievement has helped develop a culture of continuous improvement within transport operations, where good performance, especially of drivers, is recognised.”
