YourSolution was originally developed by a team of technical and marketing professionals at Groundforce Shorco to offer an easy to use digital design tool that would transform the way in which customers access standard design solutions. Hailed by one customer as a ‘brilliant innovation’, YourSolution can be accessed on either desktop or mobile, and allows customers to build a standard design at any time.
Newly released, YourSolution+ is intended to run in parallel with YourSolution, offering the opportunity to create bespoke box design solutions by anyone confident to give a verbal soil profile. You can read more on the key differences below, FAQ’s on the new system are also available here.
YourSolution+ the key differences
YourSolution+ provides the opportunity for customers to create bespoke box design solutions for specific site conditions. Whilst also allowing for detailed site information including surcharges within the zone of influence. The new system maintains the easy-to-use functionality and offers more advanced options available for those with an understanding of geotechnical engineering.
Whilst both YourSolution and YourSolution+ offer the logging of design solutions within the users technical library account, YourSolution+ designs also provide the customer with a unique design reference number compared to the standard design reference number on YourSolution designs.
YourSolution+ currently provides designs using Groundforce Shorco boxes, as opposed to alternative shoring equipment such as sheets and frames. If you are interested in using sheets and frames for your excavation, you can attempt a standard design solution through YourSolution or complete a Design Request Form through the technical library.
Another key difference is if your excavation features various soil types, YourSolution is unable to account for this. Unlike YourSolution+ where you are able to input up to 6 layers of soil featured within your excavation.
Lastly, YourSolution is unable to produce designs where there are abnormal surcharges – such as projects taking place within a busy city centre. YourSolution+ offers the user the opportunity to delve deeper and provide more information regards surcharges surrounding the excavation.
Progressive innovation
The evolution of Groundforce’s YourSolution design tool, from initial concept through to the two current versions, is testament to our willingness to listen to the voice of the customer and respond positively with fresh innovative technology that complements our comprehensive range of shoring products - and ultimately provides free, added value for our clients.
Whichever version of YourSolution is used, the team at Groundforce continue to emphasise that additional support is always available by contacting the technical team to resolve any more complex design problems that may arise; design request forms can still be submitted in the traditional way if preferred.
