Building on its success in Scandinavia, notably in Sweden, Groundforce have now expanded it’s sales team in this part of Europe. In addition to our European Sales Manager, Sam Oldroyd, Kigge Nilsson has joined the team as Sales Manager for Sweden from July 2024.

What made you decide to become part of the Groundforce team?
I am passionate about innovation and new thinking in the construction industry. The products and services that Groundforce delivers truly align with how I want to contribute to the development of the industry. Being at the forefront of safety, work environment, and innovation is something I genuinely want to implement in the construction industry. That's why I'm incredibly happy to now be part of the Groundforce team to further promote Groundforce's advanced and innovative shoring system in Scandinavia, and to help the construction industry there take a big step towards the future.
A Groundforce depot was opened in Sweden this year. Can you tell us more about the depot and the team in Sweden?
It feels incredibly exciting to be part of building the depot and the team from scratch. Together with Svensk Spont & Hammarbandstjänst, we will be able to deliver complete solutions that streamline the construction process. The team in Sweden has been intensively trained in the use of Groundforce equipment and is now a certified installer for Groundforce shoring systems. It's great to see how Groundforce has grown with the opening of the depot run by its qualified team in Sweden.

What do you think makes Groundforce so special?
After working at Groundforce for about a month, I have been impressed by the openness, helpfulness, and warm welcome I’ve received. It surprised me that a company with over 3,000 employees has such a strong sense of community. I'm really looking forward to working with my colleagues to make the industry a little better every day with our intelligent products and the excellent service Groundforce offers.
What are you looking forward to in the near future at Groundforce?
I look forward to working on exciting projects with customers who share the same values as myself and Groundforce. The development of the construction industry in Sweden and the Nordic countries together with Svensk Spont & Hammarbandstjänst is incredibly inspiring, so I am extremely positive not only about my personal future in Groundforce, but also about the future of Groundforce in the Scandinavian construction industry.
