Hydraulic Pipe Pusher

The Horizontal Pipe Pusher provides a safe working environment when installing pipe lines by reducing the need for manual intervention and time in the trench, therefore reducing the risk of injury. The device comprises a large adjustable steel unit which utilises the excavator’s Universal Quick Hitch System (80mm and 90mm diameter pins).

Hydraulic Pumps

Manual Shoring Pumps provide the means to hydraulically expand, pressurise and retract Groundforce hydraulically operated shoring equipment. Hand pumps are generally recommended for use with smaller equipment where the volume of fluid within the internal rams is relatively small. For larger bracing frames and struts, motorised pumps are recommended.

Manhole Shutters

Manhole Shutters are designed to support a nominal concrete surround of 150mm to the outside of standard precast manhole rings. Three modular panels widths (A, B and C) enable a range of diameters to be accommodated up to a maximum internal precast ring diameter of 3.0m. The panels are joined together using a simple pin and wedge assembly system.

Tuffsteel Ladders

Groundforce Tuffsteel ladders are a range of one piece leaning rung ladders. All Groundforce Tuffsteel ladders carry the Kitemark® and comply with BS EN 131 (specification for ladders). Tuffsteel ladders are available for hire or sale in a range of standard sizes.

Driving Caps

Driving Caps are specifically designed to aid the installation of trench sheets. They are simple to fit and use and act as a protective shield which vastly reduces end damage to trench sheets while improving the driving process. Caps are available in two sizes to cover the range of Groundforce trench sheets.

Plastic Piling Sheets

Plastic piles from Groundforce Shorco offer a long lasting, maintenance free solution available in two formats. The ‘Z-ribbed’ format covers slightly more ground and has a shallower front-on profile. By inserting alternative piles in reverse orientation the sheets are configured into ‘box’ format. The ‘box format’ creates an increased profile and greater strength.

SafePlate (Road Trench Cover Plate)

The Groundforce SafePlate is a lightweight, interlocking road plate system made from a steel-reinforced plastic composite material, designed to act as a temporary cover for trenches up to 700mm wide during works carried out on the highway, thereby allowing the continued safe passage of vehicular traffic. The panels have been independently tested to withstand a 44 tonne HGV loading (single point wheel load of 6 tonne).

Road Plates

Road Plates are an effective solution for continued road use where trenches or excavations are not reinstated. With a strong focus on improving safety in the workplace, a new lifting system for handling standard and anti skid Road Plates is also available to provide a safer and quicker way to lift and relocate plates. Road Plates are available either in plain metal or with an anti-skid surface that incorporates resin-bonded bauxite chippings. They provide a quick solution where there is a need to maintain road use during peak times or between periods of work.

Trench Sheet Driving Plate

The Groundforce Trench Sheet Driving Plate is an alternative to using traditional piling caps when using the ‘dig and push’ method to install trench sheets. The Trench Sheet Driving Plate should always be used in conjunction with a Quick Release Shackle (QRS) to pitch the sheets.
